Why focus on clothing?
With the rise of tiktok and other highly used social media platforms, the popularity and interest in clothing and fashion has exponentially skyrocketed. With a majority of social media users being GenZ, focus has shifted to following trends with regard to what others are wearing. Being GenZ, ourselves, we are familiar with what our target audience wants to see!
Who is our main target audience?
Focused primarily on younger generation, social media users who are mindful of what they wear. With all this in mind, influencers have turned to fast fashion, leading to the increase in reckless overconsumption and profile hyper-curation. Piggy backing off of BeReal, Fitsek focuses on aspects of authenticity and a sense of urgency to genuinely share everyday outfits, rather than hyper-curated outfits.
